Beaded
Pens
"One of my own cherished objects is a
fountain pen case covered in beads . . . Beadwork
is not made to be looked at en masse,
as on a store shelf or a museum case; it is
made to be appreciated through the use of one
small piece at a time. It is made to show its
beauty through use." -- Jack Weatherford,
"Native Roots"
Johnny Loudthunder makes beaded pens to honor his
mother's art of pen beading. Each pen takes about
eight hours to complete, and are very generously priced.
The pen uses a readily available refill. It is a joy
to be able to handle one of these pens daily -- the
feel of the beads, so tightly and precisely constructed
to withstand many years of use, plus the beauty of
the colors and pattern are an enduring pleasure. Each
pen comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
